Welcome to Asian Bridal Shop. By accessing this website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About Us
Asian Bridal Shop is a United Kingdom-based retailer specialising in exclusive handmade Indian and Pakistani bridal jewellery sets and one-of-a-kind wedding and special occasion clothing.
If you have any questions, please contact us at asianbridaljewellery@gmail.com.
2. Website Use
2.1 You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.
2.2 You must not misuse this website or attempt to interfere with its security, functionality or operation.
2.3 You may view, download and print pages from this website for your personal use only. No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission.
3. Product Information
3.1 We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs and prices are accurate.
3.2 As many of our jewellery pieces are handmade and our clothing is exclusive, slight variations in colour, finish, pattern or appearance may occur and, where consistent with the product description, are not considered faults.
3.3 We reserve the right to amend product descriptions, prices and availability at any time before an order is placed.
3.4 Product photographs are provided for illustration purposes. Due to differences in screens, lighting and photography, colours and appearance may vary slightly from those displayed on your device.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4.2 Payment must be made in full before your order is dispatched.
4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where payment cannot be authorised, an obvious pricing or product error has occurred, or fraudulent or suspicious activity is reasonably suspected.
4.4 If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
5. Delivery
5.1 We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for our standard deliveries.
5.2 Standard delivery costs £3.99.
5.3 Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1 working day of being placed.
5.4 Estimated delivery is 2–3 working days after dispatch.
5.5 Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number and delivery updates via email.
5.6 Delivery times are estimates only and may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including delays within the Royal Mail network.
5.7 We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable consumer law where goods are not delivered within the applicable period.
6. Order Cancellations
6.1 Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed where we are able to process the cancellation before the order has been prepared for dispatch.
6.2 After this period, your order may already have been processed or prepared for dispatch.
6.3 If you wish to cancel an order after this point, you may still have statutory cancellation rights where applicable. Please refer to our Returns Policy for further information.
6.4 Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled before delivery through our standard order cancellation process. Where applicable, you may instead exercise your statutory cancellation rights in accordance with our Returns Policy.
7. Returns
7.1 For online purchases, eligible customers generally have a statutory right to cancel their order within 14 days of the day after receiving the goods, subject to applicable exceptions.
7.2 If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us clearly of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.
7.3 Please contact us before sending any jewellery back so that we can provide you with the correct return instructions. Contacting us first does not remove or restrict any statutory cancellation rights you may have.
7.4 Once you have notified us of your cancellation, the goods should generally be returned within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
7.5 Where a change-of-mind return is permitted, the jewellery should:
- Be returned in its original packaging.
- Have its security seal intact and unbroken where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
- Not have been opened or worn where doing so would make the goods unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons.
- Be securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
- Be returned using Royal Mail Tracked 48 where we have provided this return instruction.
7.6 The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where applicable, unless the item is faulty, incorrect or otherwise the responsibility of Asian Bridal Shop, or applicable law requires us to cover the return cost.
7.7 A valid tracking number must be supplied as soon as the return has been sent.
7.8 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects or limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
8. Security Seals and Hygiene
8.1 Jewellery sets are supplied with a security seal to protect the jewellery and to indicate whether the packaging has been opened or the jewellery has been worn.
8.2 Where jewellery is supplied sealed and, for health protection or hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once unsealed, the statutory cancellation right does not apply once the security seal has been broken after delivery.
8.3 For a change-of-mind return, the security seal must therefore remain intact and unbroken where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
8.4 If the security seal has been removed, cut, broken, damaged or tampered with, the jewellery may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
8.5 If jewellery has been opened or worn, it may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
8.6 This section does not affect your statutory rights where the jewellery is faulty, damaged, not as described, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
9. Inspection of Returns
9.1 All returned items are inspected upon arrival.
9.2 We aim to complete our inspection and confirm the outcome within 3–5 working days of receiving the returned item.
9.3 We will confirm the outcome by email.
9.4 Where a valid change-of-mind return is received in an acceptable condition, any refund will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
9.5 Where goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, any reduction in the value of the goods will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.
10. Refunds
10.1 Where a refund is due following a valid cancellation, we will process the refund without undue delay and in accordance with the applicable statutory timeframe.
10.2 Where required by law, refunds will be made no later than 14 days after the relevant statutory refund period begins.
10.3 Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed or permitted by law.
10.4 Where a customer selected a more expensive delivery option than our standard delivery service, we are only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option, where applicable.
10.5 Please allow additional time for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
10.6 You will receive confirmation by email once your refund has been processed.
11. Non-Returnable or Excluded Items
Subject to your statutory rights, certain goods may not be eligible for a change-of-mind cancellation or return, including:
- Personalised or customised items.
- Made-to-order or bespoke items where the law permits cancellation rights to be excluded.
- Jewellery supplied sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons where the security seal has been broken after delivery.
- Jewellery that has been opened or worn where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
- Any item where the security seal has been removed, broken, damaged or tampered with, where the sealed-goods hygiene exception applies.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
12.1 If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at asianbridaljewellery@gmail.com and provide details of the issue.
12.2 Where appropriate, we may ask you to provide photographs or other information to help us assess the issue.
12.3 Your statutory rights in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are not affected by our change-of-mind returns policy.
12.4 Where goods do not meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer legislation, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
12.5 Customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering an issue so that we can assist in resolving it.

15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asian Bridal Shop shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by third-party delivery services.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

19. International Orders
Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other local charges. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
